@D K The best results I've gotten with FoxFarm trio (also in FoxFarm Ocean Forest soil) is when doing a water-feed-water-feed. If the PPM got a little too high for my liking, i'd go water-water-feed from there. I would start with a half dose of nutrients according to their feeding chart and then read the plant:
- If the leaves lighten up then I would feed the plant a slightly higher dose of nutrients the next time it needed to be fed.
- If the leaves stay about the same color then I'd continue on 1/2 dose (water-feed-water-feed)
- If the leaves become abnormally dark, I'd reduce down the nutrients
I would always monitor the runoff PPM which helped me know how much to feed.
I also found many strains I grew using FoxFarm trio needed more phosphorus. So I ran this PK Booster [https://amzn.to/2H3baRq ] in flowering weeks 4-6. That helped significantly.
@D K I tried both their 3-part and 2-part. Both times I ran just about all their additives with it. I feel like it's just like other nutrients; it takes a bit to dial them in. Some plants were happy with 1/2 dose while other plants I had to give full doses.
@jc.williams77 Absolutely!!
