It was not doing anything so thinking a total loss I took the center stalk off the third nod from the bottom. Just broke it off. Tp those wondering why, I figured it would time out and die in a month or so, So I introduced a stress that told the plant it might die soon so $hit or get off the pot. The plant is not showing any new signs of stress. The description on the website said it was "a difficult plant for beginners".

I will always say your failures are worth soo much more than your successes.

The spider mite problem I have right now it another massive learning curve! Hand destroying webs, eggs, and waiting for my bugs to come to scale (weeks!).

To anyone that has had spider mites in the height of flower it is heartbreaking watching the little devils eat your trices. . . But only one plant is being majorly effected, two plants seem to be shrugging it off . . .

@Dale Now they seem to be too dry . .

They are due for a watering so I'll have to see if they perk up tomorrow.

Also the buds are still like popcorn (I did lollipop them and they don't have much fragrance((they are CBD plants though)). I do know the two in the back are not known to be fragrant. I will be using Frass in this watering which is supposed to trick the plant into thinking it's under attack by bugs, in-turn causing it to defend itself (by jacking terp production). Also the frass has about a 3-3-2 fert value.

I will surely keep you up to date on this.

After a nice watering with Frass they all perked up! They all look great (now I understand about how parents with ugly kids still think they are beautiful).

Just to make sure she doesn't starve for nutes, I will probably top dress some worm castings next week. I really want to use Guano but I don't like to give Jeff Bozos my money and my closest hydro store is an hour away. Also it's expensive and not locally available. My big picture goal is to have a fully balanced ZERO input environment. I know it's not truely attainable indoors because no bugs no birds ect.

But my outdoors areas are a different story. I also may move onto be a soils consultant.

I also would prefer not to use animal by-products (blood meal, bone meal, anything that causes damage to take from the enviro). I have to problems with worm stuff, bug stuff, fish stuff (I fish).

I still haven't seen pistol formation on the big girl in the middle but the foliage looks like it's moving that way. Looks like she will have a fair amount of sugar leaves.

@dpitas34 Got a pic of how close the fan is to that part of the plant? If it's close and no other part of the plant looks like that then my guess is wind burn.

Thank you. I have had this set up for about six yrs. First time taking a grow full term but I have used it to grow all garden starts, yr round peppers, tomatoes (heirloom).

So I have a decent grasp on other plants. Been gardening in poor soil for about eight or nine yrs (outdoors). A lot of hard lessons learned (knowledge that can be worth more than success).

My wife has chronic paid so I am trying the different strains to gain knowledge on the different strains and their effects with regards to terps.

Ie . earthy , citrus, so on . .

If it's hard to learn, I'm in.

@Dale So IPM is a new concept. I am a helicopter parent (no kids, just plants) so I usually catch things very quick. One of the main concepts in Dr. Elaine's system is that a healthy plant is not likely to have pest problems. This I can attest to. Aside from two days of thrips (the DE knocked them out fast!) I haven't had any pest issues. I have a fungus gnat trap or two in the tent and yes there are victims, but not many at all. Yes I have some very scant clover (it didn't take that well((But it was treated seed from work)). I just threw down different mixes to see what results it will yield. I've put down some Fenugreek, some untreated crimson clover (the last was white dutch), some cat grass mix (wheat oats and barley), radish, and one with quite the kitchen herb variety, also got one or two with peas in there. . .If I were growing outside I would experiment with beans so they could climb the plant and see what happens. Honestly for all the things I've brought into the tent from my yard, the woods around my house, and my Aunt's farm (where the soil came from), I should be pulling my hair out! I just don't have problems . . Also I am a amateur brewer, forager and am into natural/native medicines so again with the in the woods stuff . .

@Dale Thank you for that. I may do that in the future (you know, when my buds are much bigger . . lol). The hardest part for me is posting pics of problems. I feel like I should be able to figure things out on my own. I am also a true believer in buying books!!! Real paper books!!! they have so much more knowledge than the internets and they don't become useless when your battery goes dead or drop your phn in the crapper . .

I do know that a real gardener puts their pride to the side and listens to all peers.

Everyone has had different experiences and everyone has useful knowledge.
