Ive been doing some research on how to lower soil ph fast but trying not to get to the point of doing more harm then good. Hoping that someone here has had this problem and got it fixed. Soil runoff ph is at about 8.0. need to get it back down to 6.5-6.8. Any Organic tips would help me best thank you!
Thanks for answering! And ya my base is fox farm ocean forest with Malibu compost, warm castings, and rose n flower, and top dressed with bloodmeal, bone meal, and langbeinite. from the jump I’ve been watering between 6.5-6.8 so I’m really not sure how it got so high. Going fully organic And it was really good til about now. Went to my local hydro store here in San Diego and they recom 99% soil sulfur. said for where I’m about at right now 7.8-8.0, 1 and a 3/4 teaspoons for the 7 gal container I have should bring it down a point to about 6.8-7.0. the plant is stressed out from nutrient lock I believe since the ph is so high. Lmk if you think that’s why there’s this discoloration the leafs are turning yellow from the middle and the green foliage is around the edges

Flushing using 6.0pH water will bring it down. I'm curious to know what brand of soil or was this a soil you created on your own? How did the pH get so high to begin with? Were you watering in high or was it something in your mix?
You can do wood ash
