I've been looking for the oscillating fans that clamp to tent poles but can't find the vivosun ones anywhere, and the only other company I've found, GrowBuds just let me know they are out of stock until july.
Looks like I'm just going to have to get a normal hurricane oscillating wall mount fan, but I'm confused on what people do to mount them in a tent? Any advice on how to mount or a site/company to get a fan that mounts to poles is appreciated.
Just make sure whatever object you use is longer than the base of your hurricane. Since it oscillates, the very bottom of the base holds most the weight. If your wood/cookie sheet/whatever is longer than the base of the fan, you should be good to go. If it's shorter, the fan will wobble and wiggle when oscillating - unless of course mounted directly to the studs. This is more of a warning for using light ratchets with random objects.
Check out page 31 in Chris' book. It's a small pic of how he did it. Best of luck my brother, send out a pic of your setup when you're rolling my friend!
