So, I took Chris‘s advice and purchased the Levoit 6L cool mist humidifier. I’ve tried setting up the smart scenes to automate different RH %‘s at different times but can’t get the automation to be reliable.
does anybody else have these humidifiers and nailed how to get them to be reliable? I use 2 humidifiers in one tent and these are my settings but when it’s supposed to switch from day to night (lower % by about 10% it doesn’t switch it off and then fire it back up. I need help cause I can’t wait up at 4am in flower to make sure the humidifier is trigging properly haha. PLEASE HELP, what am I doing wrong?

I haven't played with the Smart Scenes; I actually didn't know those existed. I personally use the schedule feature instead. I have mine set so the humidifier is on during lights on and turns off during lights off. I found during lights off, the humidity spikes due to transpiration so I don't need to have my humidifier on during lights off. Also, I have an autowatering system so the medium is always moist. If I was hand watering, I wouldn't always get that humidity spike during lights off since the medium dries out so what I just explained may not work. Hope that makes sense. I wish LEVOIT would make it so you can set the humidity % when you schedule. That way I could have a different humidity % for lights off vs lights on. I requested that feature several months back and they have yet to do it unfortunately.
