would it be beneficial to have ducting through the intake vents connected to a filter to control pests, dust, etc from entering the grow tent?

@n_e_w_b_i_e If you purchased the paperback book through Amazon then they will be the ones sending it to you. The paperback doesn't come with the electronic version.

I tried this. I have to say it isn't worth it. I found it restricted the airflow too much. I tried a few different filters and just wasn't happy. I use an intake vent angled enough to block any exterior light. As for pests, if I have to go into my tent I strip down to skivvies and go that way. Everything is experimenting and personal preference and what works best for your setup. I have 2 cats in a small 1 bdrm apartment and found this works best for me. Very little of anything gets in my environment.
