This just started over the past few days. Im growing two Chocolate Chunk bag seeds and its happening on both. Around the same time i noticed it start i got a new MarsHydro 600w and added a new fan in the tent. The light WAS around 18 inches at best from the plant and it is now nearly 30 in my 4 foot tent.
Could it be light burn? Wind burn? Overwatering? Underwatering? Or a nutrient issue.
My temps stay between 72-77 ish with a relative hunidity of 50-60. Running 18-6 lights right now.
Im using Ocean Forest soil and worm castings mixed in. I havent fed the plant at all yet but have the full regimen of Fox Farm nutrients at the ready. Which i guess that could be part of the problem?
Im in week 5 of veg and the older leaves are looking like the pics and the newer growth is yellowing some to a bright green and somewhat ..thin.. i guess?
I have a water PH meter out for delivery today but i have been using the same water since germination and its been fine until now.
Any help is appreciated.
I forgot to mention I did top off the pot with a few handfuls of some store bought soil (Jungle Growth) but I didnt think itd be enough to really impact it if that might be the case... I can easily remove the top inch or so and replace with newly delivered Fox Farm ocean Forest soil.
Plants look fine in the pics. Any issues or is all well?
As best I could tell the runoff levels were high (pushing 8.0) initially then spot on but the soil was a bit low (4.7-5.2) which seemed strange. Anyway... Id been using improperly ph'd distilled water so I amended a watering cycle and it seems the medium is now sitting at a 6.2-4 and even in one night the plants seemed to react well.
I will update this asap with that info. I noticed I missed a ton of info... Im giving the plants two days without water bc I think i did overwater a bit.
I don't see much there man. One bent leaf really isn't a concern. If you can give us the runoff pH and PPM measurements then that will help tell us if things are in the ideal ranges or not.
