Hi . im having big problems adusting my new tsw2000 distance from the pants. at 100% even in 4feet (120cm) is burning the hell out of my plants (early veg / seedlink) .after days of stress on my autos :( i finally found that at 100cm and at 25% power (80W) my plants are happy. is that normal?
i used my phone to measure the lumens at the plants level and at this distance above i get 4000lumens. is there a table out there with lumen ratios during growth ? any other ideas?
Forgot to mention that all these are found on a 3x3x6 tent with ventilation
I watched the video and it said that in the seedling stage to set at 24" at 40%. This is what we did but the seeds legged out stretching for light to soon creating week stalks. I was hoping to talk to people that may have had a similar experience with these lights and maybe had advice on how to correct this issue. To be honest compared to the California light works lights I'm not at all impressed with these lights at all.
Small commercial hydro grow operation. In one container we are using the California light works LED full spectrum lights. We have beautiful plants that have grown remarkably well and are producing tons of buds. In the second container we were encouraged to try the Growers Choice E680 Led lights. They were much cheaper but looked to have pretty good reviews. Unlike CLW the GC's are not fully programmable and we are having a hell of a time getting them set at the right light level for seeds. We were told 24" at 40% but the seeds are legging out like they are reaching desperately for light. This is causing the stalks to be spindly and some have already fallen over. Tons of roots but the tops are weak. We've upped the percentage to 70% at 24" but are afraid that we may have just ruined 40 seeds. Any suggestions on distance and percentages of PPMDs for the seedling stage? Anyone else had this problem with Growers Choice lights?
thanks bro
Seedlings usually don't require much light at all an being an autoflower its not good to stress them. 100cm an 80w sounds ok, i'd probably make sure the PH from the runoff is ok so the plant is aborbing the water an nutrients properly or else it can contribute to burning the leaves alot faster well at least in my experience
i tried to follow it but i saw that if i use the distances instructed i burn my plants in zero time . thats what makes me think that i may have something very wrong. 105cm and 70-80watts is way way different than the manual reccomendation . is that normal with everyone?
thanks . do you think a lux meter could help me with the distances and power of the lights?
Seedlings don't need much light - so 80w sounds about right.
