Hello everyone this is my 1st grow I feel I'm doing pretty good so far. I find most I fo on YouTube but this one I'm still having an issue with.
She in a 5 gallon I used
Promix premium organic garden mix.
Mixed in some hydroton as well.
Edit* I have looked into the soil the website says it contains
60-70% Sphagnum peat Moss
I have Google that and overall I get it . has a super low ph. 3-4.5 ph?
Perlite
Coir
Gypsum
Ground limestone, I'd assume that . corrected the soils ph?
Wetting agent
Mycorrhizae
Week 4 going on 5 of flower.
Fox farms dirty dozen nuts.
I noticed low runoff ph 4.89 and 1900ppm using the fox farm dirty dozen line in week 4 of flower.
water in was 6.2. 198 pp.
To try to correct I flushed with 6.2 ph about 4 gallons no real change so I did 2 gallons at 7.7 the 4 more at 6.3
Got runoff up to 5.3 and 270ppm
Let it set over night check that last bit of run off it was 6.2 300ppm awesome right?
Well I figured now she need some nutrients
Water at 1750 ppm 6.3ph for week 4 of flower following fox farms feeding schedule
It took about 3 gallons to get the ppm up to 1600 but ph is back down to 5.3?
Maybe let it set a day or 2 let the ph balance out?
Also I've heard bad things about fox farms sledgehammer so I skipped that.
Anyone have an opinion on sledgehammer?
Also another plants leafs vains are a rusty color and a few spots the same color..
I'm late to this thread. Is this still an issue? Are more and more leaves looking like that every day or was it only that one leaf?
Does miracle grow have the ph of the soil on the bag my friend
In soil I'm usually 6.4-6-7ph going in. Rarely is my run off in that same range, commonly 5.9-6.2ph. when I flush I use 3-5 times the pot size of water 7.0 pH and finish with 1/2-3/4 nutrients 6.5-6.7 pH. Your plants are probably starting to show deficiency because of the low pH.
