If a mix calls for 5 mls per gallon,
is there any difference if you divide it down and mix 1 ml per 25.6 ozs?
Do you lose anything by not mixing the full gallon?
If you only have a couple of plants, can you divide these formulas down to a more workable quantity for your needs?

The mixing instructions determine concentration not volume. No worries about adjusting to 2.5 ml per half gallon, for example.
