I’m at a lose this is my first grow and I’m doing the exact same thing to both plants and I’m using ocean forest potting soil with nothing added and it looks like one of my plants are dying from nutrient burn and the other is super healthy... help! I wanna save my critical purple and idk what to do. Here’s a pic of both.

Make sure your water is in the proper PH range. 6.5
The taller pots are less desirable. Wider is now thought to be better as the lateral roots are where the good news get absorbed. Also remember that your pots have more than double the surface area of any regular pot. That translates into evaporation. That means on the pots you chose, you will have to water more to maintain decent soil moisture levels.
If you are running salts, I do not know how ppm's and run off works.
Good Growing
Just wondering how large are those pots?
You could be watering almost a gallon a day. With pots that big, you would need to keep some moisture in the soil. I have 15 gallon pots like yours and I will water at least 1 liter of water a day in the early days. I'm almost 3 -3.5 liters a day and my lady is ten inches tall.
She's crispy. She needs water. You can now learn one of the most important lessons, WATERING. Over watering looks totally different. I'm sure you will find that one out at some point too. I've been both places. One thing you can use a guide is: Is your plant growing (not getting taller, is it putting on foliage)? When your ladies have a good amount of H2O they will put on foliage at a very noticeable rate. If you can't water them everyday (for whatever reason) then maybe you look into the auto-water bulbs.
If those are not options for you then the next step would be to set your pots up for wick systems or bottom watering.
Good Luck Sir.
250ml does not sound like a lot, she might just need more water than the other one. I would give her at least 1 liter of water next time, then give her a few days to dry out and see how she looks after that.
Looks like there is several issues. Can you give is some more info? What is the pH and PPM of the soil runoff? What grow light are you using and how far is it away from the plant?
just water it and see if it pulls through. Don't add anything but water and see.
My .02
Good Luck, just remember that failure is worth a lot more than success. If she do or don't make it, try to figure out what was different (even if it may have been before you put them into the big pots). Some plants are more sensitive than others and some are just cheap/bad genetics. I am finishing up a british house brand auto and it didn't pop one single branch and is about 8" tall. I know that plant had everything it could have wanted. The genetics are what you get for one $10 seed.
Remember that you may want to grow a specific strain but the true strains aren't available all the time. Acapulco Gold is one well known example. You can buy seed but they aren't the true original most of the time. You need to grow something that you enjoy and have success growing. I'm trying many different strains.
Oh, the horror of trying all this stuff . . .
Learn from anything you can. You will only get better.
