Hello all!👋🏻
37, from Pennsylvania. Currently a medical only state. All indications lead me to believe we will pass rec this November and be allowed 6 plants for personal consumption. Fingers crossed!
Early stages of research and planning. Looking to do a 4x4 tent in the basement. Recommendations on rookie LED light? Will definitely need a heater, fans, exhaust, and dehumidifier. How much is my electric bill gonna jump? Thoughts on 6, 3 gal pots? 6 Autos? 4, 5 gal probably best?
Thank you Mr. Grow it. You’ve got a wonderful website here and some great videos on YouTube. I am a subscriber and look forward to learning from the best!
Welcome! Here is a video with my picks for the best LED grow lights for a 4x4 grow space: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j5U_3xYhFSY I think the best bang for your buck will be the Horticulture Lighting Group grow lights. Your electricity cost will depend on how much energy the equipment consumes. Basically, add up the wattage for all your equipment then identify the cost per kWh that your electricity company is charging you. Here's the formula: watts x hours per day / 1000 = kwh That's how much you're consuming.
Then your kWh (from calculation above) x cost per kWh (obtained from your electric company) = your electricity cost Keep in mind, in most places electric companies charge less at night time. So you may want to run your lights on at night to save money.
4 or 5 gallon grow pots for autoflowers indoors will be good.
