I am growing Gorilla Glue autoflower for the first time. I am growing using Fox Farm Ocean Forest potting soil with Natures Living Soil mix. For lighting I am using the Spider Farmer 1000 LED. I am now at week 7 of my grow so I am starting to see pistols at the nodes. A couple of weeks ago I started to see discoloration at the fan leaf tips. I am curious if this is nutrient burn. I have added no nutrients to the grow, my soil stays at 7ph and my feeding water is at 6.3 to 6.5ph. I am also using Exhale for CO2 for my environment with temps ranging from 69F up to 79F with humidity from 38 to around 45rh. My plant now seems to be lagging a bit and want to address this, not really sure how to....too early for a flush. Any ideas???

Oh yeah I feel ya, Its always better safe than sorry. Just remember that as long as you never take more than 1/3 of what you have at any one time, you should be golden.
Thank you sir! I have though about further defoliation ....I just don' want to get crazy with it....Like I sometimes do! lol
Your plants look great! Sometimes less is better. Whenever I see that tip burn you mention I really dont think twice anymore because 95% of the time its normal like Mr. G said. Now one thing I might suggest and this like many ideas in the cannabis cultivation realm is highly debated, is I would defoliate just a bit to open your canopy a tad. Jeff " Lord of the roots" Lowenfels is a big opponent to this and I respect his opinion very much, but in my experiences with autos it seems to help my plants more than harm them, so I practice defoliation. Just a suggestion. You might want to do some research on V.P.D. That should help you understand how your girls react to the humidity in their environment." Vapor pressure deficit ". Good luck! They really do look good.
Thanks for you professional experience! ;) I love your book...I purchased during my 1st grow last year. A little late....but it got me on track! Prior to your book I knew if you put seeds in earth...they would grow!! MAYBE!!!
I was keeping my RH low due to an article I read specifically for autoflower. I have now increased my RH up to 45 to 50% (that should be ok??). Then today I was reading on potassium deficiencies and I think this may be my issue. There was a statement that related to the lower RH and potassium deficiencies to cause the leafs end to twist and become yellowish. That is exactly what is happening to me.
I did not think I would have any issues with nutrients using Living Soil...especially since this purchase was for autoflowering plants. I checked my run off and found it to be 3480....hoping maybe just bringing the humidity up will solve my issue
First off, your plant looks really good! The nutrient burn you mention appears to be minor and probably isn't something to be overly concerned about. Minor nutrient burn like that is very common. You mentioned you haven't fed the plant nutrients, although, keep in mind that FFOF soil and the living soil mix you mention both have nutrients in it.
Your temp range is fine, humidity range is a bit low but the plant will still grow in that humidity range.
One thing that I would be concerned about is that you mention it's an autoflower plant, yet, you're on week 7 (around day 49) and the plant is just now showing pistils. Typically autoflowers will start to flower around day 30. Unfortunately, sometimes autoflowers don't end up being autoflowers and actually need their light cycle changed in order to flower. I'm not saying this is definitely the case for you, but this is something you should keep an eye on and if you don't start to see heavy flower production soon then you may want to change the light cycle to 12/12.
But again, your plant looks good. I'm interested to see how that Nature's Living Soil mix works out for ya. It looks promising.
