Plant Deficiency

Hard to see. Are those just trichomes?

@Mr. Grow It In the first picture it looks like the leaf has a hole in it. Im on about day 30 in veg i looked at them with my micrscope and saw those, they aren't moving they just look like white dots, maybe trichomes

Looks like some light bleaching too. Unless that's the camera playing tricks on us.

@tecker2992 It shouldn't need it, but a small dose should be fine.

@tecker2992 Looks a lot like symptoms of overwatering. When you're in soil, you won't really need to water every day; although, the size of the plant and the size of the container is a factor. For example, the only time I need to water every day when growing in soil is when I have about a 4' or 5' plant that's in a 3-gal container. That's just one example. I'd persoanlly let the medium dry out between waterings and it should bounce back. Unfortunately, the damaged leaves will not recover. @Mr. Grow It okay thats great info, thanks for responding. The only other question would be should i water until runoff in my 5gal fabric containers with them only 3 weeks old and is it okay to add cal mag this early in ffof? I was worried the brown spots/ brown tips were a calcium deficiency or something. And should i cut those leaves off?

@tecker2992 They look great for 3 weeks old. They look like they should have a decent root structure at this point so watering until runoff should be fine. It just may take 4-5 days to dry out before watering again but that's normal for that size plant, in that size container imo. CalMag now should be fine too but you may want to get a pH & PPM measurement first. You can leave the damaged leaves on. I personally don't pluck them off until they are about 75% dead.

From what im seeing the ph of the runoff is 7 and the ppm is around 560

I've never used large doses of cal-mag so I don't know what the plus or negative is. I just only use what's needed. Coco I use a lot more cal-mag but that's different reasons then soil.

The color isn't concerning at the moment. The high ppm and high ph is. I don't recall ever seeing FFOF soil jump to 7.0. I'd re calibrate your ph pen and check again. 6.4 to 6.7 swing is what try to stay at in soil. The ppm to me is pretty high. I'd suggest calibration of ph pen and a flush to get the ppm down some and clear build , it's possible the pH is prevent good uptake of some of the nutrients and cause build up.

Okay ill start flushing it with straight ph water and ill calibrate my pen, what should my ppm numbers be at in ffof this early on ?

I calibrated my pen and checked again, 6.85 ph and my ppm was just about the same around 2550
