I'm growing in Coco coir that is amended with 4-4-4 down to earth. I want to track the EC so I know when I feed more. What is the proper EC or PPM when growing in organic during veg and flower?
My bad, I had a brain fart and didn't think about that. The copyright. That grassy taste comes more from your drying and curing process The theory behind flushing is to get the synthetic nitrates out of the plant , but if your are not using them then there is no need.
I agree with this. Since you're using organic inputs @Mednugs , you really don't need to flush. You should see a natural fade as the plant comes to the end of its life. Even if you harvest with most of the leaves green, that chlorophyll will break down during dry/cure. Usually for me, the 1-month mark into cure is when I can't really taste chlorophyll anymore.
Yes. It was basically if I don't now the PPM how do I make it so the plant runs out of nutrients towards the end so it uses up all of its chlorophyll to avoid a grassy taste?
@gregthe357 I had to remove the pdf due to copyright. The reply also got deleted. Here is the reply from gregthe357:"In true organics flushing isnt necessary. I dont track e.c. or p.p.m. when doing organic you dont really feed the plant, you feed the soil. The plant in turn will tell you what it needs or not by its appearance. As long as you keep your soil amended with the proper minerals and nutrients your good."
Good question. I actually don't know anyone who tracks EC or PPM when growing organically. Organic molecules are larger than plant-available synthetic ones and they need to be broken down by microbes first. So even if you knew the EC/PPM I don't know how helpful it would actually be.
My intent was more to track the difference in the number so I know when I should feed and also how fast the plant goes through nutes. That way I can try to run out right around the last 2 weeks. Organic flush I guess.
Thank you both.

@Mednugs one of your replies was accidentally deleted. I believe it was a question. Did you still have a question?

Well if you are going to get the EC or PPM. Here is one way to get the numbers you want to analyze.
