Reusing planting medium.

In a week or two my first grow will be finished and I plan to try out a new grow with photoperiod seeds. For the first grow I used Coast of Maine Stonington Blend, and wanted to know if resuing that is a good idea and if so what should I add to restore it. If it's not a good idea and you have a favorite soil medium I'd like to hear.

Sorry you never got a response to this; I haven't been on the forum in awhile. Yes you can reuse soil. What did you use for nutrients during your last grow in that soil? I like using BuildASoil Craft Blend when amending my soil before the start of a new grow.

I do not add it to FFOF soil fresh out the bag. I'm talking about adding it to a depleted soil. With what you mention, you won't need the Blue Planet nutrients, but I'd keep them on standby in case something doesn't go right with your plan. There have a been a handful of times back when I first started growing with organic inputs where I started and then in flowering I noticed deficiencies so I had to use synthetic nutrients for a fast recovery. Don't beat yourself up if you don't get it right the first time. It takes practice.
