As a newer grower I decided to order some fox farm soil(50% happy frog and 50% ocean Forrest) over using the crap I used last time from lowes. I would like to stay somewhat organic and not use the fox farm line of bottles. I've read people say for the first month you won't have to really feed them other than calmag, after that everyone says to use dry amendments for top dressing but I havnt been able to really find what to use or how much. Could someone help me out with what to use?

I'm all in with earth dust suggestion, I love the stuff. Get some recharge and have some fun. I'll add Blue Planet has an organic bottle line I like and use as well. I know a few first growers that issues with dry amendment their first grow, but, the earth dust is pretty self explanatory in it's use and make first time easier for growers. Just pay attention to the size of your plant and the condition of your soil. The bag recommended amount is not near enough for large plants.
Green Sunshine Company has a product called Earth Dust I use-
RAW has a great 2 part dry amendment product-
you can go with Down to Earth products and build a basic menu
Look at Build a Soil- they have simple to complex options for dry amendments-
there are a few options
hope it helps
