I am in week two of veg on my first indoor grow, I topped my plants last Saturday and in my opinion they are still in recovery stages. A friend of mine who has grown before looked at just a picture of my plants and says I should top them again and that you only need to give them a week to recover. My plants look very bushy , But I’m very worried about stressing them like that yet again. What is everyone’s thoughts on a second topping?

You can absolutely top them again. Topping will always slow growth a bit but it isn't going to kill them or anything unless you do it to a seedling. On plants that large and healthy you can remove every single top at once and it would still be OK. If I was you I would increase my light distance or dim it to get the plants to stretch a bit more. That node spacing is insanely tight.
They look good. I cant give advice on this but would be interested to hear what the experienced people have to say about it. I topped my current grow once and I feel like a second could have been done.
I also didnt trim until week 4 just before I was ready to switch to flower.
On a sidenote, is there any worry about removing some of those big fan leaves that seem to be blocking all my new growth spots?
