Vegan Organic Beginner Grow

Hey there Growmies,

I'm about to start my first ever indoor grow and decided to go with organic nutrients.

Doing my research and looking up things mentioned in the videos and on the podcasts it seems most blends like Dr. earth, earth dust nutrients, greenhouse feeding and so on contain things derived from animals.

I'm not looking to start an ethical debate but since I don't want to use things like bone meal in my grow I am now looking for vegan alternatives. This far I can only see BioBizz with a fully plant-based mix.

Can you recommend any vegan, organic blends or is it not worth starting organic growing at all when vegan?

One last question. Do you have issue with manure? I use seabird guano is the only thing. I could look for a replacement for that part though. Shouldn't be too hard.

Rock phosphate and calcium would achieve the same thing as the seabird guano. FYI down to Earth does have a vegan mix if all that sounded like too much.

I'm vegan as well. Had the same hangup and switched to mineral based for that reason. There are also several vegan friendly additives. Are you opposed buying a product from a company that processes animal based fertilizers? I am not personally as long as it isn't in the product so no judgment either way. Are you looking for a blend or willing to put things together?

Nah to me it's alright as long as it isn't in the product.

In general I'm open to put things together. But my only experience this far are 2 autoflower outdoor grows without fertilizer so this is my first "real" grow. For this first run I wanted to start with a blend and then experiment with different amendments, teas and all that good stuff.
