Beginner grower that is confused. Have a autoflower strain from AMS that says it’s 7-8 week flower time. I’m just starting week 10 of flower with no amber change in the trichomes as yet. Is this normal? I’m checking everyday with a jeweller glass, the trichomes are milky but no sign of any amber. It will eventually change won’t it? Do I just push on even though it’s 2 weeks past recommended flower time?
I’m growing in a 2x2 under a SF 1000, in 5 gallon fabric pots with a living soil mix. I have been watering with only Molasses added, ph’d @ 6.7 for the flowering stage.

The flowering time estimates from the suppliers are notoriously under stated and are often off by as much as two weeks. I think those estimates are for the very low end of the harvest window, but if you want the good stuff you may have to wait a little longer. 😁
I would let her go a little longer and keep an eye on the trichomes. Reevaluate at the end of week 10.
