What is this bug?

While cutting my plant I noticed about 20-30 of those bugs that were on it and jumping and flying. They jump like a grasshopper. Is this bug harmful to my buds?

Thanks Cam.

They seem to hide in the buds when I try to kill them. Should I be worried about them now that I cut my plant and drying the buds?

I couldn't find any info online about them being dangerous if accidently consumed/smoked.

They were on the plant when I was cutting it. Then when I did a wet trim, I saw them moving around on the

I'm pretty sure I killed all the large ones but there were smaller ones that were green and hard to find unless they move. What I'm worried about mostly is if they laid eggs on the buds.

There is a pretty good chance they did. You saw the complete life cycle on your plant so it's very likely.
