While cutting my plant I noticed about 20-30 of those bugs that were on it and jumping and flying. They jump like a grasshopper. Is this bug harmful to my buds?

Thanks Cam.
They seem to hide in the buds when I try to kill them. Should I be worried about them now that I cut my plant and drying the buds?
I couldn't find any info online about them being dangerous if accidently consumed/smoked.
