Two quick questions what is the ideal height to hang your lights during veg.I just bought the tsw2000 by mars and the suggested 18-24" away from the canopy with the light dimmed all the way down seems to be too much will it negatively effect my plants if I raise the lights above 24" question 2 my set up is in a room of the house where nobody goes but myself is it ok to leave the tent door open all the time or should it be closed when im not doing chores ty

also remember the temp and humidity that you changing when you leave open the tent for a long period of time

Yes you can leave the door open but you miss out on the reflective material reflecting light onto your plants. Also, not sure if you are trying to hide the smell but with the tent open it will most likely stink up your house in flowering. This video should help you dial in your light distance:
