Hi, that is an older style light but still good and I have done a few grows in a 3x3 with it.
The 450w in a 3x3 will work but will be a little dim around the edges, it is made for a 2.5x2.5.
4 plants in a 3x3 is a lot unless they are 4 very small plants. With that light you might be better off with one big plant or two smaller ones.
That light worked ok in my 3x3 for about a year and then all the Bloom lights on it died. Only the veg setting works now so I use it only in the veg tent.
@Cap Stone hey brother recommendation on soil for next grow im new this will be my 3rd grow first 2 were in ffof thinking bout trying out strawberry fields or mixing the 2 together i also use the blue plant trio just curious what your thoughts are on the best soil you have found thanks my friend happy growing
