The PPM of the feed/water was 494 going in. Runoff was 390.

I did water just after I got the response. I added 20ml of cal/mag to 10 liters of water. I just cleaned up the run off. PH was 6.8 TDS 780. Hope I'm on the right track. Thanks for your help.

I am using Remo nutrients, I gave them some this morning. I took the chart from Remo and mixed up a half batch. I was nervous about burning them. I also lowered the light according to the company specs (I had it too far away) After feeding I checked the run off it came back TDS 267, PH 6.8. When I mixed the brew TDS was 305, PH 5.5. Also I started with R/O water with TDS of 10. Am I on the right track here? I bought your book and read it cover to cover. I'll have to go back and do some review. Thanks for the reply.

So just water then test ppm?
