I prefer dry trim because the sugar leaves help slow down the drying process by holding the moisture in the buds a bit longer.

@Mike420 I wouldn't use run off either as there is a lot of crap that collects in the bottom of the pot when you don't water with run off that throws off the number. The best way is to do a slurry test by taking about a shot glass of soil from 1-2" down in multiple spots, mix it with a shot glass of distilled water, wait about 5 minutes and test the pH and PPM. Let me know what it comes back at.

They look overwatered. You can also cut off those bottom leaves as they are pretty close to the soil and not doing anything to help you buds. Water at 6.8 pH with about 10% run off after they dry out a bit to bring up the soil pH as 6.0 is a bit low in flower.

Get yourself a 30/60 jewelers loupe. The 60x magnification will show the trichomes very well. When the trichs are mostly cloudy, the buds are at full potency. When the amber starts showing, they are starting to degrade a bit, and it will give you more of a relaxed high. I usually start flushing when they are mostly cloudy, and chop around 10-20% amber.

30 C is fine. Just keep good air flow/exchange and make sure the light isn't too close. What lighting are you using?

You can flower a plant whenever you want, but it's best to get a nice canopy first with lots of tops, so you get a nice yield.
