Thanks For the comment. I tried to avoid plucking many leaves and instead opted to use a few more ties to spread out the bushy sections more to get better airflow and light penetration. I also added a fan below the canopy as you suggested. I may only grow two plants next run so they have plenty of space to spread out, I think I can fill the same space with only two and avoid allot of these issues. I have not found allot of good information on defoliation. I know you want to do it in the first 2-3 weeks of flower or before flipping to flower. You want to remove the larger fan leaves or leaves blocking good bud sites. Generally, most videos I have seen just mention it or do it in a time-lapse and don’t get into very much detail on what, when, and how to do it…

My primary concern was the plants getting to cold. The outside temperature was 17F and the indoor temperature was near 60F at night. I now have a gas heater in the room on standby if needed and one battery powered fan in case it happens again.

I made a clothes line between the tent poles and strapped the three tallest tops to the side of the tent. I guess I'll let them ride and see how it goes. Thanks to all of you for your advice!

I don't have enough space to raise the entire tent. The stalks are somewhat brittle, if I bend them to much they are going to snap. If I do snap off the top of the branches will the lower branches continue to bud or will the shock be too much? I thought about putting a bamboo stake in the pot and using garden wire to pull them back away from the light and let them climb up near the tent wall. I am unsure what else I can do… I think it is too late to use a trellis net.

Is a small one like the Eva-Dry EDV-1100 even worth trying inside the tent? I have a 2'x4'x7' Gorilla Grow Tent

It has been working well for a week, good option if you have limited outlet space.

It is made by BN-Link for outdoor use but it has a pigtail cord that would not cover up other outlets on the power strip. Its like a timer dongle, programing looks the same as there regular outlet type.
