Thnx for pointing me in the right direction. I had been watering each plant every 4-5 days giving each plant 1 Gal and I think that might have been too much. 5 days ago I topped dressed each plant with 2 cups worm casting and 2 cups compost and watered in 1 Gal plain water. Yesterday I applied a full scoop of great white and gave each plant a 1/2 Gal of water with molasses. I’m going to pick up some dolomite lime to have on hand if things continue to get worse.

I understand where you’re coming from with the ph, but these plants have been going for over 3 months and ph has never been an issue. I gave up on ph b/c when I was trying to dial it in it lead to issues. I’ve given the plants plenty of fertilizer over the last 6 weeks. Actually I’ve given em a touch more than recommended. I just want to know what the prob is based on the pics. I was trying to figure it out by looking at pics online but couldn’t reach a definitive answer on my own.

Here’s what I did- 1 Gal water 1 Cup Dr Earth 3-9-4 1/2 Cup worm castings 1/2 cup soil Brewed 24Hrs, PPM 3,500 I have 2 GDP & 2 WW that had been watered at 6.0-6.1 instead of 6.7-6.7 all the way up to Day 28 of Flower because I wasn’t making sure my Ph meter was calibrated correctly. I gave all 4 plants 32 ounces of the tea on Day 34 of Flower. The GDP plants chucked trichomes overnight. The WW has produced some trichomes but not nearly as many as the GDP. Both stains are 9 week strains, but should I expect them to finish in 10 weeks or longer because the Ph being off the first 4 weeks of Flower did stunt growth?

I didn’t think about the warranty. I use the $50 model. I normally store it in tap water b/c that’s what it says, but I did throw it in some storage solution. I‘ve figured out that it’s off by 0.6 and I’m going to do adjust based on that. I honestly haven’t been keeping up on making sure it’s been accurate and it has cost me.

Soil or Coco? If coco what nutrients are you using? How old are the plants? How far away is the light? I prob wont be the one to provide ya with an answer, but these are the things ppl need to know to help ya out. Good luck man

I don’t grow autos, but I’d suggest LST and tucking any leaves you can. If there’s leaves that are blocking key bud sites and you can’t tuck them away then maybe remove it, but you gotta make that call. If you’re gonna defoliate I’d pick a number of leaves per plant and stick to that. So if it’s no more than 6 leaves per plant, pick the 6 leaves that are blocking the most light or key bud sites and pull only those 6. I’ve done that with photos that are in flower. It keeps me from removing too much at once. Hope this helps

@Mr. Grow It @mwhite9829 Thanks. The copper deficiency that you guys helped me with cleared up within 2-3 days once I raised and dimmed the lights over the plants. I was able to send the plants into flower knowing that all plants were now healthy. I have really bad anxiety, and seeing the plants bounce back so quickly was a HUGE relief. Much love and appreciation for the help.

I normally top dress at 1 Tblspn per gallon. I’m not sure if that’s the measurement I should use if I want to reuse my soil or if it should be a larger amount. What would be nice is if I could mix in the nutrients to the used soil, let it cook for a few months, and be good. I’m in the Midwest and will not be growing from late Spring to Summer, so I have 4 months where the soil can cook.

@Jeffrey Glick This is what 4 plants in 5 Gal pots in a 4x4 looks like. I’m on Day 2 of Flower and the plants will double in size over the next 2-3 weeks. I have plenty of room around the tent for air flow, and I can move the plants around easily when I need to get to them.

I get ya, and I was asking cuz I didn’t want to have issues if I did it. The living soil does look like more than what I’d want to take on as well.

I did it for the first time on my last run and it made a big difference as well. I did it again for my current run and same results. Very happy I gave it a try, and I’ll continue to do it.

I’m with everyone else. It’s better to have the space and not need it than to not have it and need it. Tents are where I went cheap. I started out with 3 tents though. One for each stage, veg, flower, & dry. Small light leaks will not be an issue with the light you’re using, and if you can keep the room the tents are in dark or the lighting low when the grow lights are off you’ll be fine. I’m on my third grow and this community has been very welcoming and a great resource when issues arise, and they will arise. Lol Good luck with everything.

Thanks for the help. Hopefully they bounce back quickly. Is it normal for the Ph of the run off to be the same as the Ph going in? Is that desirable? I thought the Ph of the run off would’ve been slightly different.

I raised the lights 4” I only had 1 Gal of dechlorinated water and the soil was a little moist but I wanted to get the ph & ppm so I put 40oz threw each plant. Going in Ph 6.3 PPM 150. Coming out WW#1 Ph 6.3 PPM 1975 & WW#2 Ph 6.3 PPM 2432. I know the PPM is high, but it’s an organic slow release fertilizer and I’ve heard that it being high is normal. Am I correct in that, or should I flush out some of those nutes? The Ph was the same so I assume I’m good there. I normally Ph at 6.7 but went low in case the ph of the soil was high.

Pretty sure he nailed it. I came across the link he sent me late last night. I was looking up immobile deficiencies as I was struggling to stay awake. I’m going to move the lights up a few inches and I’m going to run a 1/2 Gal of water through each plant. I’ll collect the run off and post the ph & ppm. Thank you guys so much for helping identify the problem.

I get ya, and I’ve heard ppl say the same thing. I can give it 7-10 days to try & resolve the issue, but I can’t go much longer than that then I’ve gotta flip to flower. I’m disabled and have a very limited income. If I wasn’t running low on weed and had the cash to buy from the black market or dispensary I prob wouldn’t care, but it’s just adding to my frustration. Thanks for taking the time to discuss the issues with me. I’ll be turning the lights on soon and checking the soil, but I don’t think I’ll need to water till tomorrow. I’ll post ph & ppm when I can

Yup, well aware of that. I understand checking the ph & ppm of the run off, and I’ll do it, but I would think the other 2 GDP plants would be experiencing some issues as well and they’re as healthy as can be. Same soil, same nutrients, same stage of life and not a single issue. I just don’t get it and it’s aggravating af

When they were in 3 Gal pots 16oz every 2-3 days. When I transplanted into 5 Gal pots (4 Days ago) I gave each plant 32oz. I checked the moisture of the soil with my finger yesterday and it was still moist. I did a heavy watering when I transplanted to help settle the new soil. I might not need to water for another day or two. I need to flip the plants into flower soon because my last grow was a complete failure and I’m getting low on what I have from the grow before that one. FML
