(trying to justify the new light to myself 🤣) the light is a Bestva pro 4000 415W QB, samsung LM301B diodes, meanwell driver. I think you’re onto it with the light. Yeah I’m running a QB 🤦🏻‍♂️ Biggest rookie error. I’ll be buying a spider farmer SE7000 after this run. In the affected area the ppfd is ranging from 800-1000 ppfd and 38-40 DLI (I’m not supplementing c02) so definitely well on the high side. ambient co2 sits around 450 ish. i have the height to go up so I’ll lift it and see what happens. I wish I stuck with my gut feeling from the start and stayed with the light being the problem rather than stressing the shit out of them with all flushing it did. good learnings though 😏 Will the two other plants suffer not getting as much ppfd if I raise the light up to fix the tall plants issues? @Cam Z

from the start I’ve been feeding them a light dose of green planet synthetics as well. (The full dual fuel range) in week 6 flower I’m at 1/2 dose. (water, feed). I kind of thought nitrogen as well but the lower growth is still a good colour and nitrogen is obviously mobile so that didnt really fit the diagnosis Imo . the yellowing top and clawing really only pointed to sulphur deficiency to me. light was also the first thing I thought because it started on those two plants closest to the centre of the ligh with the tallest buds. I lifted the light a couple of inches and dimmed it a bit but I didn’t seem to change over a few days. I’m spewing the grow was going pretty well until now.

No heater and at that stage I didn’t even have a fan blowing directly onto them. after the flush they seemed to come good. i Thought maybe I was over watering them and creating an array of problems. after the flush I was then under watering them 🤦🏻‍♂️. its definitely impacted the growth with all of that stress. day 42 from sprout and they aren’t real big. My environment is spot on but I’m struggling with the watering. octopots are looking really good at this stage.

Worth a try I guess. they aren’t that expensive.

if you have an ac infinity fan you could set it to exhaust at 80f (27c) rather than exhausting constantly. That way it would have ample time to build up in the tent. even better if you can vent back to your room. mr growit vents back to his lung room and achieves around 1000ppm with a mushroom bag.

@Mr. Grow It I’ve got a mini split in the 10x10 lung room but doing it the way you are I think heat would still build up a lot with the light I’m using. (bestva pro 4000) biggest rookie error 🤦🏻‍♂️ ill just vent my 4x4 into the ceiling constantly on min setting 3 (ac infinity cloudline T6 ) the ambient co2 in the house is 408ppm. that should work yeah? I’ll just forget about the mushroom bag.

We do have central but I’ll put a split in that room. it’s only a small 10x10 room. 2 adults one small human. I think I will forget about co2 and just run ambient. ill vent the tent into the ceiling and it can passively pull air conditioned air into the tent. large space under the entry door as the house was built with central so it will also pull in air at the same rate the tent is being exchanged ( I assume)

@Cam Z yeah very true. I’m going to be battling high heat & humidity in summer so at some stage the ac will be a must. The joys of a hot climate 🤦🏻‍♂️

@Cam Z I’ve already got the dehumidifier. will it keep up to dehumidifying 96 cubic feet every minute or so while the fan exchanges the air? that’s my concern.
