Humidifier h20 used for the ladies

Hello ladies and gents, i have a simple question of, does tap water in your humidifier effect your plants? Should I only be using RO water? I haven’t noticed any difference really but it would be nice to know if I can save money on water? Thanks

Believe it or not, using tap water in your humidifier will clog your carbon filter. It will also leave a white chalky substance (calcium) all over your walls, fans, and will reduce the lifespan of your humidifier. RO or distilled is best.

That’s wild because I noticed a lot of white shit accumulating on my fans and now it’s getting on the ladies too.i knew it wasn’t mildew or anything like that but I didn’t think it would be because of the humidifier but now that I know, I’m going to fix it. thanks once again

I can agree to this. I learned the hard way and going to through this issue now. I am going to change to a RO system after I finish this grow and improve everything in my system.
