Real living soil.

So we all know we can buy pre-made organic living from multiple companies in most any grow or hydroponics store.

Has anyone ever considered just walking into the woods near by and moving the leaves off the top spoil filling up bags and using that as your grow medium?

You would have to ammend the soil at some point as you do with commercial brands after 30/45 days.

Thoughts Y'all???

I would agree to that... Say in the middle of the woods with all the composting going on naturally that would be more then top soil with all the different things being broken down.

@Diablo Smurf One other thing is that typically around trees the microbes in the soil are a higher percent of fungi instead of bacteria. Cannabis thrives more in soils that are bacteria dominant instead.
