i’ve been super cropping this plant for a week or so and not sure if i need to do any defoliation or how I can LST because the branches are pretty short. It’s already showing pistols and I haven’t switched my light schedule over yet so i was also wondering if that’s normal or not.

Is that a photoperiod plant? If so, you may want to top it so the lower branches will grow up more.
Plants showing pistils late in the vegetation stage is normal.
