I was just wondering when adding...say Great white to your water before watering, if you're water is at a high pH of like 8.6 to combat low soil pH will this kill the microbes you are watering in from the rapid PH change between the water and soil? And can microbes survive in such high pH water before I give it to my plants? I read they also have a pH range that is sutable for they're survival and production.

I am a new grower and obviously overwhelmed but still eager to get my grow right I've read and watched as much as I can but this problem I needed help with for sure. So being new I messed up and used straight fox farms ocean forest no coco or lime added I then also went a bit over board with nutrients at one time and soon realized I had burned them a bit and flushed to correct. Afterwards I noticed my run off ph was going extremely high 5.6 5.8 so I flushed More then read about dolomite lime powder so I ordered some and top dressed a 1/2 tbls per gallon (5gallon pots 5 plants 5x5 tent) after 2 weeks I did so again only to get increased ppm and a few more burnsm so I then read more and flushed again this time with 8.5 pH water to try to combat the low pH soil it seems to be bringing back the color in my leaves, helping the vertical growth come back and no burns on the new growth however my pH is still low and I'm still watering around 8.6 and getting most plants at 6.5 but one in particular is still running off at 6.0 to 5.8 I could really use any help you guys have.
